A rare event occurred last evening on the outskirts of the city, when two patrol police officers saved a cat from a giant python. The large snake had coiled around the cat and was squeezing it tightly, but the quick eyes of the officers noticed the danger.
Without hesitation, one of them grabbed the python behind the head, while the other carefully opened its jaws to free the frightened cat. After a few tense seconds, they managed to rescue the small animal. The cat, which had been left breathless, immediately began to meow, as if to thank its saviors.
The python was later returned to its natural habitat, while the cat was taken to a veterinarian to make sure it was okay. This act of bravery shows that law enforcement officers protect not only people but also animals in danger.
